"Why does it smell like wet dog in here?"
"Werewolf!"
"Oh, right..."

From that wonderful movie, Van Helsing. Great flick. They had a couple of references to Logan/Wolverine, which was awesome. Heh, Lex and I were all, "Whoa! Lookit that!!!" Hmm... Right, then, we walked out of Van Helsing, and Lex went to the bathroom, and I was looking around, checked my watch that I've got on my keychain, and looked up to see, low and behold, that Troy was playing in ten minutes in a few theaters down. So, we jumped in there and saw that, too. But dude! Troy was so depressing! I mean, hell yes, I'm all for the eye candy, which there was plenty of, but still.... I was all, "Oh..." Good thing I took a mythology class, I knew who to get attached to and who not to, and even some of the ones I wasn't supposed to get attached to lived, so that was all good. They changed a few things from the myth, but they left in a lot of cool stuff, and expanded on others, like the relationship between Briesius(I never could spell that name) and Achilles. And dude!!! Orlando Bloom's Paris was an archer, I'd forgotten! It was so cool, it was like, seeing Legolas with brown hair when he started shooting, I freaked out like a little kid, I was all pointing at the screen going, "DUDE!!! Being Legolas taught him that!!! Ooooh!!!!" And then, let's see... They had a lot of people who were together on previous movies that were like, blockbusters. And none of this is going to contain spoilers, I promise, I'm just drooling over the guys.
Much Sean Bean yumminess, he was Boromir in Lord of the Rings, you know, the one who died, he was Odysseus. Of course, Orlando Bloom was in this movie, too. I should hope I wouldn't have to tell anyone who reads this who that is. Umm... For Lexi, she was totally stoked, cause the dude that played Ajax was Sabertooth on the first X-men, and the dude that played Agamemnon was William Stryker, the scary dude from X-2. Lemme see, who else... Well, on a different note, Hector, Paris' older brother, was played by Eric Bana, who was the Hulk, and DAMN! He was hot!!!! *taps fingers on the keyboard for a second* Peter O'Toole was in it, and he was, most memorable to me, in The Lion in Winter, with Katherine Hepburn and a VERY young Anthony Hopkins. Side little trivia for anyone who doesn't know, The Lion in Winter was Anthony Hopkins' first EVER movie, and it was awesome, I loved that movie. But, right, getting distracted.
There was only one occasion of that in Van Helsing, though(heh, typed Underworld by accident, getting ahead of myself) and that was Anna and the guy that played the Cardinal. Both of them were in Underworld together, she was, obviously, the main character, and he was the werewolf scientist that was working for... Oh, damn... The main were guy, that was completely awesome... Ooh!!! Just did some background research on some of the others in the movie, and it turns out that the guy who's Frankenstein's monster(checks the spelling, is correct on the first try!!!) was with Hugh Jackman on the stage production of Oaklahoma that was on like, PBS a few months ago!!! Dude, both of those men can sing like none other, I love Hugh Jackman's voice... *drool* OMFG!!!! DUDE!!! THE FRIAR WAS FARAMIR!!!! OMG!!!! I KNEW I'D SEEN HIM BEFORE!!!!! He was also in Moulin Rouge... GAH!!!! Finding more!!! The guy who was Dracula was M in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen! Whoa, man! And HE was in Moulin Rouge, too!!! I'm about to like, have a heart attack here.... Whoa, another one that came from the Mummy, I'm finding so many of them... The guy that's the undertaker, he's from the Mummy too.... He was also in Shanghi Knights...
Alright, alright, I'll stop, but dude... Can't wait to tell Lexi about the friar dude... Loved him before, love him even more now...

"You can't swear, you're a monk!"
"Actually, I'm a friar, I can swear all I want. Damnit."
