Ah, yes, well, Lexi and I are ok. We talked for a long time that night, and we really hashed some things out and learned a lot about each other that I think we needed to get out. Now, we're doing really well, and I'm happy about it.
Monday is my LAST DAY AT MY HELLISH WORK!!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!! *dances the dance of joy* Then, I start my new job bright and early the next day. Hehe. No rest for the wicked, baby. Or maybe just the poor and needy. Yeah, that'd work too.
Just got back from the NCS Championship game(high school baseball game) that was held at the Oakland Colloseum, because my old high school called me to ask if I'd shoot the game like I did last year. Odd, but yeah, my stuff's going in this year's yearbook again, and I don't even go to school there anymore. Hehe. But yeah, they lost, like last year. It was sad. 4-1. Got some good shots, though, that's what counts. Plus, the nice little ego boost that went along with getting a press pass and being allowed in the photography booth on the field level, just by third base. I was so stoked, still am. Even brought the pass home with me, souvenir and all that. *skips around waiving pass in the air* Righty-o. Um.... What else.....
Oh, Gina was being a bitch today, like normal. Turns out I entered the date of a check wrong in the computer last night, and the computer thought the check was supposed to be sent to the bank today, instead of the 20th, when it was REALLY supposed to go. So, I was already trying to fix something I'd entered wrong in the comp today, when we'd been swamped with customers and hadn't had a chance to figure out what was wrong then, when Gina stands up and starts ragging on me about the other check. I kinda turned around, pursed my lips, and went, "Hmph." Then I went back to my work, and Gina freaked out on me! She went, "This is no 'hmph' thing! We could get sued for this stuff!" I was so close to just turning around and saying, "Well, it's not my problem anymore, and I'd appreciate it if you'd stop yelling at me." She's such a bitch, gah! Hate that woman. She'd already been on my case about the other thing that I was fixing today, was practically standing over me and harassing me and telling me what to do and what not to do, until I finally turned around and told her I knew what I was doing.
Gah, yesterday closing out my drawer sucked, too. When I tried to balance my checks, I kept coming up like, $1,500 short. Well, THIS is not a good thing, as you can all imagine. So, I started checking them all individually, and there was a $1500 check that I didn't have. Gina, of course, was an idiot and actually asked me if I'd just misplaced it or not entered it or something stupid like that, and I looked at her and said, "Um, I would've remembered cashing a check that large, Gina, thanks though." I finally figured out that the moron who took over my comp when I went to lunch, forgot to log me out, and had entered a ton of checks under MY name. Yeah, that wasn't pretty, had tons of things to reverse and check and reenter. I was SO not happy by the time I left, like an hour after I was supposed to be off.
So, yeah, That's been the last few days. Hehe. Off to chat with Lexi and post! YIPPEE!
